For authors

Editorial office accepts contributions in English language not published up to now. Contributions are reviewed from the professional point of view. Authors are responsible for content and linguistic correctness of contributions.

Contributions should be prepared exclusively in electronic form and sent by e-mail directly to the address of editorial office cee@fstav.uniza.sk  or on any electronic medium to the address of editorial office.
Contributions can be sent continuously and they will be published in such order as they were delivered to redaction.

Contributions will be printed on A4 format, Arial font, 10p. Price per published article is 200 EUR


Papers should contain:

  • Title
    In English language. The paper title should have no more than 10 words.
  • Full names of authors
    With their affiliation and contact information (full address, email addresses, telephone numbers and web pages).
  • Abstract
    In English language with the range up to 100 words.
  • Keywords
    Please, provide 5 keywords that best describe the content of the paper.
  • Introduction
    The paper should begin with the Introduction in which it is necessary to present the aim of the research included in the paper and clearly point out the originality of solutions and content-related approach to the issue worked out by authors.
  • Text of contribution
    In English language with the range up to 10 single line spacing pages. Chapters should be numbered 1, 2, 3, ....  and subchapters 2.1,  2.2 ... Chapter numbers without a dot. Tables and Fig. must have a headline. (Table 1: Text.      Fig. 1: Text.)
  • Description of the approach, work methodology, materials descriptions and experiments
    In this section it is necessary to present in details assumptions and procedures of own researchers to such an extent that they can be reproducible.
  • Description of achieved results
    In this section it is necessary to present achieved results of own research in details illustrating them by pictures, diagrams, photographs, tables, calculations etc.
  • Conclusions
    It is necessary to present clearly the main conclusions from whole paper. It is required to present them in a few points after the general conclusion. The originality of research, value of study, author's achievements, practical application and possible directions of further works should be emphasised.
  • Acknowledgements
  • References
    References should be collected at the end of paper. They should be listed in order in which they are cited in the text. It is necessary to put numbers into square brackets, e.g. [1] or [2,3] or [3-5]. The minimum number of the references is 5, maximum 25. Names of authors in references capitalized in the form: surname, abbreviations of other names (SURNAME1, A.O.N. – SURNAME2, A.O.N.: Name of Article. Name of Journal, Vol. 1, Iss. 1, 2020, p.1-5.).  Where available, URL links for the references are required.

 

Format

  • Contributions will be modified before printing therefore no special demands are imposed on manuscripts (margin, font, font size, etc.).
  • Manuscripts can be elaborated in any editable text format.
  • Each subsection should not be shorter than 10 lines.
  • Scalar variables in the text should be set as Italic (e.g. WWix), vectors and matrices should be set as boldface (e.g. Fv). Units should be only in SI.
  • Equations should be placed flush-left with the text margins and should be preceded and followed by one blank line. If equations are numbered make sure that they are numbered consequently. Put the numbers in parentheses and place them flush-right with the margin level with the last line of the equation.
  • Figures and photographs should be sent in .jpg formats in colour scales at min 150x300 dpi. or in .jpeg, .png and .tiff formats in colour scales at min 600x900 dpi. Figures should have the exact determination of the location in the text of the paper in English language. Editorial staff reserves the right to place figures elsewhere than author indicate (depending on paper edit).
  • Each figure and table must be cited in the text and in numerical order. Figures should be presented as Fig. 1 or Figs. 1, 2 or Figs. 1 – 5. Units should be inserted in parentheses, e.g. [kg].
  • Tables should have the exact determination of the location in the text of the paper in English language. Editorial staff reserves the right to place tables elsewhere than author indicate (depending on paper edit). Tables should be presented as Table 1, Table 2 etc.
